The County Clerk is also in charge of elections. The County Clerk shall have the powers and perform the duties assigned to the election commissioner except in those counties which have an election commissioner as provided by section 32-207 or 32-211.

Nebraska’s new voter ID law requires all registered Nebraska voters to present photo ID when voting.
Acceptable forms of ID for voting
- Nebraska driver’s license/state ID
- U.S. passport, military ID, tribal ID
- Hospital, assisted-living facility or nursing home record
- Nebraska political subdivision ID(state, county, city, public school, etc)
- Nebraska college or university ID
