Saline County Aging Services provides a variety of assistance to Saline County residents 60 years or older. Information and referrals are also available to caregivers or anyone who has concerns regarding the welfare of an older person.

Saline County Aging Services is known for helping older individuals maintain independent living and remain an active and vital part of their community. Beyond that we also strive to reach newly retiring individuals as well. We have a plethora of services and assistance available to a wide age range of 60+ individuals.  Our services are offered to all 60+ residents regardless of income status and are not based on need.

Office staff is: Lori Moldenhauer, Program Manager, Donna Kovar, Program Assistant, and Madison Hoover, Community Outreach Coordinator.   The Saline County Aging Services Staff are certified counselors through the Senior Health Insurance and Information Program (SHIIP). This is a division of the State Department of Insurance. We are able to assist beneficiaries with a variety of Medicare related questions and issues.

Speaking engagements are available to any business, civic, religious or other organization within Saline County. Sessions include the:

  • Saline Aging County Services
  • The ABC's of Medicare
  • Medicare Part D
  • Homestead Exemption

Saline County Aging Services is jointly sponsored by County, State, and Federal funds made available through the Saline County Board of Commissioners and Aging Partners. Contributions for services and donations also help to support the Program.

Share the Love Event

SHARING THE LOVE WITH AMERICA'S SENIORS
The Commitment of Subaru to homebound seniors is extraordinary. Thanks to the Subaru Share the Love Event, Meals on Wheels has delivered nearly 4 million meals and friendly visits to seniors facing hunger and isolation.

From November 16 to January 2 Subaru of America and its retailers will donate $250 for every new vehicle purchased or leased to the customers choice of participating charities including Meals on Wheels.
